Syrians are the largest, forcibly displaced population in the world. 90% live in poverty, 11 million lack essentials, and the health system has collapsed. With only 46% of the humanitarian needs met, the UN aid falls short. Beyond borders, 6.8 million Syrian refugees reshape demographics, underscoring the far-reaching anguish of this enduring crisis. HHRD's Middle East North Africa (MENA) team has been delivering relief through 13 programs to 1 million+ Syrian refugees since 2012.
The ongoing devastation in Syria has caused families to flee for refuge to Jordan and other countries. Families who have lost everything are trying to rebuild their lives. HHRD strives to provide humanitarian relief wherever possible. Continuing relief efforts ensures hope and support reach those in need.
