Nederland Food Pantry - Holiday Distributions

The Nederland Food Pantry has been dedicated to serving our community for many years, providing additional essential support to families in need during the holiday season. This year, Mountain Forum for Peace granted $1000 to support Thanksgiving and Christmas distribution efforts.

On November 16th, from 10 AM to 12 PM, NFP distributed Thanksgiving boxes, which are packed with a variety of food items to create a hearty meal for families in need. Following this, they hosted a Holiday Box distribution on December 21st, from 10 AM to 12 PM. This special event at the community center includes essential food items, clothing, and additional services our partner organizations provide, like toys.

By funding this project, Mountain Forum for Peace helps us ensure that no family in our community goes without a holiday meal or the joys of giving and receiving during this festive season.
